THESE ARE THE CITIES, CULTURES, BANDS, VENUES AND FANS
OF DR. MARTENS PRESENTS.
THIS IS WHAT PULSES THROUGH BUILDINGS, STREETS, ALLEYS, SIDEWALKS, WALLS, BODIES, HEARTS AND SOULS OF THE PEOPLE WHO GIVE THEMSELVES TO THE CREATION OF GREAT ART
SO COMPLETELY.
THIS IS WHY THEY LACE UP THEIR BOOTS AND CHANNEL IT ALL.
SO THE MUSIC CAN COURSE THROUGH THEIR VEINS
AND THESE BANDS OF OUTSIDERS CAN COME TOGETHER
AND SHARE SOME FUCKING TRUTH.
LATIN HERITAGE
SILVERLAKE, LA
For the first Dr. Martens Presents Tour stop in L.A., fans filled every corner of Dr. Martens Silverlake. Doris Anahí’s voice filled the room and carried out into the streets. She spoke about her family’s love of music and her uncle joined her in a song that had everyone singing along with tears in their eyes.
CHICAGO MUSIC
PILSEN, CHICAGO
For the next stop on The Dr. Martens Presents Tour, we touched down in Chicago. Fans brought the raddest, most electric energy for the artists — we’re talking lines four blocks long, encores, out-of-state fans and family members in attendance. Child Seat and The Regrettes killed it at the historic Thalia Hall, and bands Lifeguard and Deeper sold out the Dr. Martens Southport store. These were shows we won’t soon forget.
GIFT OF COMMUNITY
NEW YORK CITY EDITION
The beginning of this multi-venue outing was Dr. Martens’ most anticipated event to date in the heart of Bushwick. Freakquencee, Big Freedia, and hoards of dedicated fans turned up for a super high-energy dance party at Brooklyn Made. That energy was brought straight to the next show at Smith Street. Sorry Mom, Control Top and Foyer Red played to a very special crowd, including mom to Sorry Mom vocalist. While we only touched down in New York briefly, we left on a cloud.
THE TROUBADOR
LOS ANGELES
For the final shows of 2022, we went west. DJ Dani, Hana Vu and Shamir played a packed house at the DM store in Venice Beach. Our next show filled the historic Troubadour venue to capacity. Margaritas Podridas, Automatic and Mannequin Pussy shut the house down — truly a night of unforgettable performances.
THE MOHAWK
AUSTIN
Hello Austin Texas! Locals The Ghost Wolves, punk rock darlings The Linda Lindas along with Momma and Blushing gave crowds two shows to remember.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH
NEW YORK CITY
We celebrated Black History Month and closed out our last DMP show of the season in NYC. They Hate Change, and PawPaw Rod brought their diverse sounds to our Herald Square store, followed with an incredible night at the Bowery Ballroom with NNAMDÏ and Binki.
